Chiropractic Care

Treatment for back and neck pain is the specialty of chiropractic.  At Milan Center, our doctors utilize several different techniques including spinal adjustments, exercise therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and flexion distraction to manage your symptoms.  We use modern diagnosis methods such as MRI and work with proper medical experts when required to assist in your recovery.

Physical Therapy and Corrective Exercises

Our full time licensed Physical Therapist is available to teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises specially selected just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spine and other joints. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.  Physical Therapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing movement potential, within the spheres of promotion, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.  It is a process of assessing movement potential and establishing agreed upon goals and objectives using knowledge and skills unique to physical therapy.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is soft tissue manipulation of the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, joints and lymphatic system of the body.  It increases circulation, range of motion, reduce muscle tension and pain, while providing an overall sense of relaxation and wellbeing.

In addition to our services we have added hot stone massage therapy which incorporates deep penetrating hot stones for the ultimate in muscle melt.   Hot stone massage uses heated basalt rocks to encourage an increase in circulation, a decrease in muscle spasms, and promote the release of toxins from your muscles.

Nutritional Assessment
